FIITJEE, one of the prominent coaching institutes for IIT-JEE preparation, is facing significant backlash following the sudden closure of multiple centres in Delhi-NCR and Uttar Pradesh. The closures have been attributed to months of unpaid salaries for teachers, leading to their resignation and a disruption in services for enrolled students. The affected students, who were preparing for both board exams and competitive entrance tests, have been left stranded without prior notice from the institute.

Parents of the students have expressed their frustration, particularly after paying full fees for courses, only to see the centres shut down without any communication or refund. Protests have erupted outside the closed FIITJEE centres, and social media platforms have been flooded with complaints. Several cities, including Delhi, Noida, Ghaziabad, Bhopal, Varanasi, and Patna, have witnessed the closure of FIITJEE centres, further escalating the situation.

Teachers have come forward to share their grievances regarding unpaid salaries, claiming this issue has been ongoing for several years. Former FIITJEE teacher Divyanshu Mittal explained that the institute had consistently cut salaries by 10-20%, with more severe cuts ranging from 40-60% in recent months. The non-payment of dues led many teachers to join rival coaching institutes like Allen Career Institute and Aakash Institute.

In response, parents of affected students, like Madan Prasad from Delhi, are seeking refunds for the fees paid, with one parent claiming to have paid Rs 5 lakh for a course. Despite repeated attempts to contact the institute, they have received no response. An open letter has been sent to the government requesting a thorough investigation into FIITJEE's financial practices and legal action against the management.

In Noida, police have initiated an investigation after complaints were filed by parents regarding the sudden shutdown of the FIITJEE centre in Sector 62. The authorities are attempting to contact the institute's management to resolve the issue.
