- Chandrababu Naidu, Revanth Reddy, Davos 2024, Telugu CMs in Davos
The upcoming World Economic Forum Summit in Davos, set to begin on January 20, 2024, will witness the attendance of the Chief Ministers of the Telugu states—Chandrababu Naidu from Andhra Pradesh and Revanth Reddy from Telangana. Although this will not be a formal bilateral meeting between the two leaders, both are attending the summit in their individual capacities, and it’s expected that their presence could lead to informal discussions on the post-bifurcation issues between the two states.
Chandrababu Naidu, who has regularly attended the Davos Summit during his tenure as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, will return this year after his second tenure. He will be accompanied by his son and IT Minister, Nara Lokesh. On the other hand, Revanth Reddy, the Telangana CM, is continuing his new tradition of attending the summit after his visit in the previous year.
With both Telugu CMs in Davos at the same time, there is speculation that they might use the opportunity to meet and discuss important political matters concerning their states. Alongside the Telugu CMs, Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis will also be attending the summit, adding further interest to the political discussions at the event.
