The demolition of N Convention, owned by Nagarjuna Akkineni, has stirred significant controversy and media attention. The Telangana government's new department, HYDRAA, carried out the demolition on the grounds of alleged illegal construction in a lake buffer zone. However, Nagarjuna has issued a statement refuting these claims.

In his statement on X, Nagarjuna expressed his discontent with the "unlawful" manner of the demolition, which he says occurred despite existing stay orders and ongoing court cases. He emphasized that the land in question is Patta land, and no part of it encroaches upon the lake. According to Nagarjuna, there was no prior notice issued before the demolition, and the action was based on misinformation.

Nagarjuna reiterated his commitment to complying with legal proceedings, stating that if the court had ruled against him, he would have personally managed the demolition. He plans to seek appropriate relief from the court to address what he describes as wrongful actions by the authorities and to correct any public misconceptions about the legality of the construction.
