Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a packed audience of tens of thousands of Indian-Americans at the Nassau Coliseum in Long Island today, where chants of "Modi, Modi" resonated through the venue. The event was a celebration of Indian culture and the strong ties between India and the United States.

Beginning his speech with the powerful slogan "Bharat Mata ki Jai," Modi emphasized the global significance of the Indian greeting "Namaste," crediting Indians living abroad for spreading its meaning worldwide. He expressed gratitude to the Indian community in the United States, noting their pivotal role in bridging the two nations and enhancing India-US relations.

Modi acknowledged the diverse backgrounds of the Indian diaspora, stating, "You all have come seven seas apart, but nothing can ever take the love of India away from your hearts and souls." He highlighted the shared sentiment that unites Indians globally, reinforcing that this bond is their greatest strength and a testament to their peaceful existence as law-abiding citizens.

The Prime Minister referred to the Indian community in the US as 'Rashtradoot' (Ambassadors), thanking them for the respect India has earned abroad. He remarked, "It is our Indian values and culture that makes us One," underscoring the importance of unity among Indians, no matter where they reside.

During his address, Modi fondly reminisced about his previous community engagements in the United States, including memorable events at Madison Square Garden in 2014, San Jose in 2016, Houston in 2018, and Washington in 2023, culminating in today's event in Long Island.

The occasion featured a series of cultural performances, delighting attendees as they eagerly awaited the Prime Minister’s arrival. Modi's speech resonated deeply with the audience, reinforcing a sense of pride in their heritage and the strength of the Indian community in the US.
