Flights Delayed in Longview, Cancellations Out of Tyler Due to Storms in DFW Area

As of November 5, 2024, multiple flights have been affected by severe weather around the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Three planes are currently grounded at the East Texas Regional Airport due to the storms.

Two of these planes, originally bound for Dallas, had to divert to Longview. The third is a scheduled 2 p.m. flight to Dallas, which remains on hold while officials monitor weather conditions. Passengers are still on board but may need to deboard if delays continue. It remains uncertain when these flights will be able to take off or if they can safely navigate the storm.

In addition, several flights from Tyler Regional Airport have been canceled because of the storm. Passengers with flights from Tyler to Dallas are encouraged to check their current flight status online or by contacting the airport.
