Jakson Green, a leader in energy transition, has successfully synthesized methanol from carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions at NTPC’s Vindhyachal Thermal Power Plant, marking the first-ever instance of such a process in the world. The innovation captures CO2 directly from the plant's flue gases and converts it into methanol, a cleaner alternative fuel. This process could significantly impact industries like power generation and transportation by providing a more sustainable fuel option.

The project, a collaboration with NTPC, was commissioned within a year of the award, highlighting Jakson Green’s capabilities in implementing cutting-edge green technologies. As part of Jakson Group, the company focuses on energy transition projects and has operations across India, Europe, and Africa. The success of this pilot project is a major step forward in creating green molecules and achieving a carbon-neutral future. The project was executed in Madhya Pradesh and is expected to inspire further advancements in the global renewable energy sector.
