Chandrababu Naidu, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, is once again setting his sights on revolutionizing the state’s technology landscape. After turning Hyderabad into a leading IT hub, Naidu is now focused on developing Vizag as a major tech destination. His plan involves the creation of a Data City in Madhurawada, spanning 500 acres, designed to serve as a center for IT companies and innovation.

Following the success of Hyderabad’s Hi-Tech City, which attracted tech giants like Microsoft, Naidu aims to replicate this model in Vizag by building an infrastructure that supports cutting-edge technologies, including Artificial Intelligence (AI). With companies like Google and Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) already on board, the initiative is poised to accelerate the region’s growth in the tech sector.

The project, which is backed by both Naidu and his son Lokesh, will include advanced data centers, AI research hubs, and ample space for IT companies. Lokesh has been instrumental in promoting the initiative internationally, holding discussions with global leaders in the tech industry, such as Cognizant CEO Ravi Kumar and Microsoft’s Bill Gates.

With land acquisition already underway and strong industry interest, Vizag is set to become a key player in India’s tech revolution, positioning itself as a prime destination for IT investment, innovation, and development in the coming years.
