AP Polls Wrapped: Jagan and CBN’s first reactions

Now that the Andhra Pradesh elections are wrapped up, here’s a look at the initial reactions of sitting CM Jagan Mohan Reddy and opposition leader Chandrababu Naidu.

“I would like to thank my grandparents, my sisters, my brothers and sisters, my farmers, my SC, my ST, my BC, my minorities and all my youth who came like a tsunami to bless me in yesterday's elections.

Heartfelt thanks to all my workers who worked hard for our @YSRCParty victory. I assure you that our good governance so far will continue to be even better.” Jagan Mohan Reddy stated.

As for Chandrababu, he said “Today is a special day in the history of state elections. After seeing the enthusiasm shown by the people to vote, it seemed like the start of a new history. The desire to end anarchy and achieve democratic governance was evident in every voter who came to the polling stations. People came from hundreds and thousands of kilometers to vote with the same determination. I sincerely thank every voter who braved the financial burden, the heat of the sun and the difficulty of traveling to the polling stations for the state.”
