AP Polls: What Does Record Turn Out Indicate?
The long awaited polling process has been wrapped in Andhra Pradesh with the state having gone through what has been an intense polling season. 

Now that the polls are done, here’s a look at the interesting numbers associated with the elections. 


Final figures of Andhra Pradesh’s election campaign: 

Poll percentage of 2024 as compared to 2019 and 2014 election. 


In 2024- 80.66% 
In 2019- 79.77%
In 2014- 78.41%

Total voting is 3,33,40,560 Cr for parliamentary constituency. 

-Highest voting percentage is recorded in Ongole (87.06%).
-Lowest is in Vizag (71.11%).

Total voting is 3,33,50,332 Cr for Assembly constituency. 

Darsi assembly constituency recorded the highest poll percentage (90.91%). Lowest is recorded in Tirupati (63.32%).

Postal Ballot- 4,97,000 lakh votes (81.86%)

Does the increased polling percentage indicate a YCP edge or TDP edge?

YCP leaders say the increased polling is due to their welfare schemes as the people want more of YCP governance. While in return, TDP says the growth is due to the anti incumbency factor.
