Chandrababu Naidu has taken charge as the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh for the fourth time and he is actively working on rebuilding the fiscal condition of the state. Alongside, Naidu is focused on highlighting the bad work done by the previous YCP government so that the public is aware of what's happening.
In this context, Chandrababu has apparently decided to unveil a white paper based on the bad work done by the previous YCP government with regard to the Polavaram project.
Naidu went on his first official visit to Polavaram last Monday and he seemed bemused by the lack of progress in the project over the last 5 years. Vexed by this, Naidu has apparently decided to prepare a white paper on all the negligence that went into the Polavaram project over the last five years.
The progress that was registered prior to 2019 and the lack of progress between 2019-24 in the YCP tenure will be highlighted in this official paper, say reports. The purpose of this is to educate the public on YCP's negligence on Polavaram which resulted in the extreme delay of the project. This would be Naidu's first major white paper on the previous YCP tenure.
