The Andhra Pradesh police department has intensified its scrutiny of YCP leaders accused in various criminal cases, with Devineni Avinash recently becoming the latest target. Avinash, who has been active in the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YCP) since 2019 and faced a significant defeat in the 2024 elections, is one of the accused in the attack on the TDP office in Vijayawada. His involvement in this case has drawn substantial attention from law enforcement.

In a dramatic turn of events, Avinash’s attempt to escape to Dubai was thwarted by Andhra Pradesh police. He was reportedly planning to leave the country last night, but the authorities at Shamshabad airport in Hyderabad were alerted to his travel plans. The police had issued lookout warrants in connection with the case, and Avinash was intercepted before he could board his flight. The intervention ensured that Avinash could not leave the country, leading to his return from the airport.

The police action underscores their commitment to pursuing justice in the TDP office attack case. By preventing Avinash from fleeing, the Andhra Pradesh police have sent a clear message about their resolve to address political and legal issues involving YCP leaders. As investigations continue, Avinash's attempt to evade the legal process has only heightened the scrutiny and ongoing enforcement efforts by the authorities.
