Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has generated significant buzz with his enforcement of the HYDRAA program, aimed at removing illegal constructions encroaching on water bodies in Hyderabad. While this initiative has garnered public support for its intent to protect crucial land areas, it has faced criticism from various political factions. In response to KTR’s accusation that HYDRAA is a politically motivated campaign targeting opponents’ properties, Revanth Reddy has issued a bold challenge.

Revanth declared that he is willing to have his own house, as well as those of his family members, demolished if they are found to be illegally constructed. He challenged KTR to lead a fact-finding committee to investigate the legality of properties, including his own. By publicly offering to accompany HYDRAA in demolishing any illegal structures linked to his family, Revanth aims to underscore the program’s integrity and distance it from political motivations.

Additionally, Revanth expressed discontent over the rapid bail granted to Kalvakuntla Kavitha in the Delhi liquor scam case, suggesting that there might be a BJP influence behind the swift legal relief. He compared Kavitha’s expedited release with the prolonged trials faced by other accused figures like Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia, further fueling suspicions of political manipulation in her case.
