In the wake of a disappointing performance in the recent assembly elections, YSR Congress Party has launched a fierce critique against the Election Commission of India (ECI), alleging various irregularities in the electoral process. The party has expressed significant doubts about the integrity of the polling process, focusing on accusations of EVM tampering and discrepancies in the reported results. Despite the passage of nearly three months since the elections, the party remains unsatisfied with the transparency of the election results.

A delegation from YSR Congress, including former ministers Ambati Rambabu, Merugu Nagarjuna, and MLC Lella Appireddy, met with Chief Electoral Officer Vivek Yadav in Amaravati. They called for the ECI to release detailed booth-wise poll results for all constituencies and questioned why this data had not been made available yet. Ambati Rambabu highlighted concerns over changes in the reported polling percentage and the absence of constituency-wise voting data and Form-20 information on the official ECI website.

The party has raised specific issues regarding discrepancies in Voter Verifiable Paper Audit Trails (VVPATs) and signal strengths in Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs). They are pressing the Election Commission to resolve these issues and provide comprehensive data to address their suspicions and allegations. This ongoing controversy underscores the YSR Congress's efforts to challenge the legitimacy of the election results and seek clarity from electoral authorities.
