As Vijayawada faces severe flooding, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has been at the forefront of rescue and recovery efforts, earning widespread praise for his dedication and effective management. At 74, Naidu's tireless work to oversee and coordinate relief operations, including deploying 150 rescue boats and securing army helicopters, has been recognized across the political spectrum.

KTR, Telangana's Minister for Municipal Administration and Urban Development, took to Twitter to highlight Andhra Pradesh's robust rescue measures and contrast them with what he claimed was a lack of effective response in Telangana. He wittily compared the six rescue helicopters and numerous boats used by Andhra Pradesh to the "big zero" managed by Telangana's government, using this contrast to mock Telangana Congress leader Revanth Reddy.

Revanth Reddy responded sharply to KTR's remarks, emphasizing that KTR’s comments were made from the USA while Telangana leaders, ministers, and rescue personnel are working tirelessly on the ground. Reddy defended the efforts being made in Telangana, asserting that KTR should not undermine the serious and ongoing rescue operations by criticizing from abroad. The exchange highlights the political tensions and differing perspectives on the management of the current flood crisis affecting the region.
