S Jagan Mohan Reddy is currently navigating one of the most challenging phases of his political career, facing mounting pressure over the Tirumala Laddu controversy. This issue has escalated to the extent that the Food Safety Authority at the center has become involved, intensifying scrutiny on the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister's handling of the situation.
Amid this turmoil, former YCP MLA RK Roja has stirred the pot with a series of polls on her official YouTube page, which have garnered significant attention and could potentially haunt Jagan further. One poll asked viewers which Chief Minister managed Tirumala more effectively, and an overwhelming 74% of respondents favored former CM Chandrababu Naidu, indicating a stark preference for his governance.
Another poll focused on accountability regarding the Tirumala laddu controversy, listing Jagan, Pawan Kalyan, and Chandrababu Naidu as options. The results were telling: Jagan received 71% of the blame, while Naidu and Kalyan garnered only 21% and 8%, respectively. These results, especially coming from Roja—a self-proclaimed devotee of Jagan—cast a shadow over the YCP leader's credibility.
Given that these polls are not affiliated with the TDP but come from within YCP circles, they reflect a growing public consensus that could prove detrimental to Jagan's political standing. As the sentiments against him grow, it appears that Jagan Mohan Reddy must urgently address not just the controversy itself, but also the apparent shift in public opinion catalyzed by Roja's revelations.
