The Tirumala Laddu adulteration saga is reaching a boiling point, drawing in major political figures from Andhra Pradesh, including Chandrababu Naidu, Jagan Mohan Reddy, Pawan Kalyan, and Nara Lokesh. While the YSR Congress Party (YCP) faces mounting blame for the alleged adulteration, Jagan's defense has appeared somewhat stagnant.

In a recent media interaction, Jagan requested a CBI investigation into the Laddu controversy, attempting to assert his innocence amid the swirling allegations. However, Nara Lokesh, the son of former Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and a prominent leader in the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), wasted no time in countering Jagan's claims.

When asked about Jagan's call for a CBI inquiry, Lokesh responded pointedly, stating, “Jagan and his YCP batch have no credibility to talk about CBI. If Jagan is so confident about the CBI, then why didn’t he send his Babai Viveka’s case to CBI, despite repeated pleas from YS Sunitha?”

Lokesh highlighted that Jagan has not sought a CBI investigation into his uncle's death nor has he participated in the CBI inquiry regarding his own disproportionate assets case. This inconsistency raises questions about Jagan's sudden demand for a CBI investigation into the Laddu matter. Lokesh’s remarks have underscored the skepticism surrounding Jagan's motives, adding fuel to the already fiery political atmosphere in the state.

As this drama unfolds, the Tirumala Laddu issue continues to serve as a backdrop for the intricate and often contentious dynamics of Andhra Pradesh politics.
