IT Minister Nara Lokesh is making headlines with his proactive approach to attracting investments and driving governance in Andhra Pradesh. In a recent interview with a national media outlet, he discussed his ambitious goals and the current political landscape, particularly in the context of the NDA government’s first 100 days.

Lokesh revealed his commitment to Prime Minister Modi, stating, “I promised to deliver 22 seats to NDA from AP but I was off by 1 seat as we won 21. I apologized to Modi ji for falling one short of my promise.” He expressed admiration for Modi, emphasizing that the PM envisions a role for the TDP that extends beyond Andhra Pradesh to benefit all of India.

When addressing potential pressures from the INDIA bloc to switch allegiances, Lokesh affirmed, “Our loyalties are always with NDA. We support Modi ji and the NDA outfit unconditionally.” This statement underscores the TDP's unwavering commitment to its alliance with the NDA.

Reflecting on the NDA government's initial days, Lokesh acknowledged that while it is still early, he is confident in delivering exceptional governance. “My ambition now is to be remembered as a job creator and carve a legacy accordingly,” he stated. Lokesh highlighted recent initiatives, including job creation, increased pensions, and the restart of Anna canteens aimed at aiding marginalized communities.

With a clear roadmap in place, Lokesh aims to implement pre-poll promises effectively. He expressed optimism about ushering in a transformative era in Andhra Pradesh, focused on administrative reforms, job creation, and eradicating corruption.

His confidence and articulate responses during the interview suggest a determined approach to leading Andhra Pradesh into a new chapter of growth and development.
