Borugadda Anil Kumar, a rowdy sheeter known for his controversial remarks during the YS Jagan regime, has been arrested by Guntur Police. Anil Kumar had a history of making derogatory comments about prominent political figures, including Chandrababu Naidu, Lokesh, and Pawan Kalyan. Over the last two years of the YCP's tenure, he openly threatened to eliminate both Chandrababu and Lokesh if ordered by then-CM Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Now that the TDP+ is in power in Andhra Pradesh, Anil Kumar’s past actions have come back to haunt him. He has been charged with extortion, defamation, and engaging in anti-social activities. Allegedly, he ran an anti-social operation during the previous government and is now facing the legal repercussions.

The arrest has been welcomed by TDP and Janasena supporters, who were deeply offended by Anil’s earlier threats and derogatory remarks about their leaders. His threats against Chandrababu and Lokesh, along with insulting comments about Pawan Kalyan’s personal life, remain vivid in the memories of their supporters, making this arrest particularly significant.
