MP Lavu Srikrishna Devarayalu Meets Amit Shah, Advocates for NFSU Campus and Beda Community Welfare

In a notable political development, Andhra Pradesh MP Lavu Srikrishna Devarayalu recently met with Union Home Minister Amit Shah, drawing attention in political circles. During their meeting, Devarayalu brought several critical issues to Shah's attention, emphasizing the need for progress in Andhra Pradesh.
One of the primary requests made by Devarayalu was the establishment of a National Forensic Science University (NFSU) campus in the state. He pointed out that NFSU campuses have already been set up in various other states and advocated for Andhra Pradesh to host this prestigious institution, which would enhance educational opportunities in the region.
In addition to the NFSU request, Devarayalu highlighted the long-standing challenges faced by the Beda (Budaga) Jangam community. He underscored their significant cultural and social contributions to the state and urged the formulation of a comprehensive policy aimed at addressing their welfare needs, including education, employment, and social support.
Taking to his X profile, Devarayalu shared a photograph from the meeting, stating, "Today I met with honorable Union Home Minister Amit Shah Ji. During the meeting, I requested the establishment of a National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU) campus in Andhra Pradesh. I also urged for the formulation of a comprehensive plan to address the social and economic needs of the Budaga Jangam community, including welfare schemes, education, and employment opportunities," adding that Shah responded positively to his requests.
Lavu Srikrishna Devarayalu won the 2024 Narsaraopeta Lok Sabha election on a TDP ticket and later took on the role of leader of the Telugu Desam Parliamentary Party, positioning him as a key figure in Andhra Pradesh politics.
