Mumbai Police have arrested a 24-year-old woman, Fatima Khan, in connection with a serious threat message directed at Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The message warned that he would be murdered "like Baba Siddique" if he did not resign within ten days. Investigations revealed that the threat originated from Khan's phone number.

Khan, who holds a BSc degree in Information Technology, resides in Thane with her family. According to police sources, she has been struggling with mental health issues. Her father is reportedly involved in the timber business.

This incident comes amid a troubling trend of death threats being issued in Mumbai, particularly targeting prominent figures such as Bollywood actor Salman Khan. Recently, the Mumbai Traffic Police control room received the threat against Adityanath, which was sent from an unknown number via WhatsApp.

The context of the threat ties back to the murder of former politician Zeeshan Siddique, the son of Baba Siddique, who was shot dead near his office on October 12. The Lawrence Bishnoi gang has claimed responsibility for that murder, which heightened security concerns for those connected to Siddique, including Salman Khan, who has received threats linked to his past legal troubles.

In light of the increasing threats, especially after the shooting incident outside Salman Khan's residence, police have intensified their efforts to track down the individuals behind these menacing messages. Several suspects, including a vegetable seller from Jamshedpur and a tattoo artist from Noida, have been arrested in connection with similar threats against the actor.

This wave of threats and violence underscores the ongoing challenges faced by law enforcement in managing public safety amid rising criminal activity linked to organized gangs.
