Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president K. T. Rama Rao (KTR) has leveled serious allegations against Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, accusing him of forcefully acquiring land from farmers in Kodangal for a Pharma Village project. The land, according to KTR, is intended for Maxbien Pharma, a company owned by Revanth Reddy’s son-in-law. KTR condemned the Chief Minister for prioritizing his family's interests over the welfare of the farmers and accused him of using coercive tactics to suppress opposition.

The BRS leader also addressed the arrest of BRS leader and former MLA Patnam Narender Reddy, alleging that he was not arrested but rather kidnapped by plainclothes policemen. The arrest was linked to local villagers' protests against the Pharma Village project. KTR accused Revanth Reddy of sabotaging development projects for personal political gain and exploiting marginalized communities in the process.

The controversy surrounding the Pharma Village has sparked public outcry, with many farmers and locals opposing the land acquisition. KTR expressed BRS's commitment to standing with the affected communities and demanded the government withdraw the proposal for the Pharma Village. He also criticized the Chief Minister for hindering the Pharma City project near Hyderabad for political reasons and called for transparency in land dealings and development projects.
