Andhra Pradesh IT and Education Minister Nara Lokesh is proving to be a people’s leader with incident after incident. In the latest development, he quickly assisted a group of Ayyappa devotees from Goduguchinta village in Vedurukuppam Mandal, Nellore Constituency, who were struggling in Kerala.
The devotees encountered difficulties during their pilgrimage to Sabarimala, facing a road accident en route and subsequently being detained by the Kerala police despite not being at fault. Expressing their distress in a video, they highlighted the lack of cooperation from the authorities.
Upon seeing the video, Minister Nara Lokesh contacted the Kerala government and assured the devotees of assistance. After discussions with Kerala officials, Lokesh successfully facilitated the release of the detained Ayyappa devotees, enabling them to continue their pilgrimage to Sabarimala without further hindrance. The police officials also arranged food for them before releasing them.
The grateful devotees expressed their heartfelt thanks to Nara Lokesh for his prompt action, as well as to Nellore MLA Thomas, Tirupathi Parliamentary Convenor Bheemineni Chitti Naidu, and the media persons who supported them during this ordeal.
Lokesh’s swift response and support in this situation demonstrate his commitment to standing by the people in times of need, instilling confidence in the government's willingness to assist and protect its citizens.
