Trinamool Congress has made it clear that it is not in agreement with the Congress-led push for a Parliament disruption over the Adani issue. The party skipped the meeting of INDIA bloc leaders, held at Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge's chamber, citing a difference in priorities. While Congress wants to focus on the US Department of Justice's indictment against Adani Group directors, Trinamool aims to raise several other critical issues such as price rise, unemployment, funds crunch, and the ongoing unrest in Manipur.

Trinamool Congress has expressed that as the only party in the INDIA bloc not in an electoral alliance with Congress, it is not obligated to attend discussions when its top concerns are sidelined. The party's leadership, including Abhishek Banerjee, has reiterated its commitment to raising Bengal-specific issues during the Winter Session, especially those related to the Centre blocking the state's dues. Trinamool MP Kakoli Ghosh Dastidar also emphasized that the party does not want to disrupt Parliament but aims to hold the government accountable on various fronts.

The Adani issue, however, has continued to dominate the floor of Parliament, with Congress pressing for a discussion on the indictment. In contrast, other parties have been pushing for discussions on issues like Cyclone Fengal's damage, violence in Uttar Pradesh, and concerns in Bangladesh and Punjab.
