Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Pawan Kalyan, who is also overseeing the Panchayat Raj and Forestry Departments, has raised concerns over the whereabouts of two luxury BMW cars that were seized during a sandalwood trafficking bust. The vehicles were confiscated during the TDP government's tenure (2014-2019) following a major sandalwood smuggling operation. After their seizure, the high-end BMW cars were allocated to officers within the Forestry Department—one to the Special Correspondent of the department and the other to a private officer working under the same ministry.

During the TDP’s rule, the vehicles were monitored with tracking systems in place. However, once the YCP government took power in 2019, tracking on these cars was abandoned, and there is no current information on their whereabouts. This disappearance of the two valuable cars has caught the attention of Pawan Kalyan, who is now seeking an official report on their location.

The issue has raised questions about the YCP government's management and transparency. The sudden lack of information about these cars has sparked concerns, adding to the list of perceived inefficiencies within the current administration. As Pawan Kalyan pushes for answers, the fate of these two BMW cars remains uncertain, with many waiting to see how the government will address the issue.
