The Times of India After 31 years, man aged 65 now acquitted in 1993 Mumbai riot case

Nadirshah Khan, 65, was acquitted for the 1993 Sewri riots at Shivaji Nagar. Victims Rajesh Sawant, Sanjay Parab, and Abhikshit Gawli turned hostile. Police firing injured a victim. Co-accused Shahajan Pasha was exonerated in 2004, and Abbas Pasha died in 2000. The court found no adequate evidence that Khan fired shots or wielded a deadly weapon.
