Megastar Chiranjeevi and Nandamuri Balakrishna are set to welcome 2023 with Waltair Veerayya and Veera Simha Reddy respectively. While the Blaakrishna starrer is releasing on the 12th of January, the Chiranjeevi starrer is releasing on the 13th. 

The onus is now on Chiru and Balayya to start off 2023 on a positive note. They are coming for Sankranthi season and it is essential that they give Tollywood a bright start for 2023. 

Both Veerayya and Veera Simha Reddy are mass entertainers, which would naturally make them favorites to set the box office on fire next Sankranthi festival season. 

2022 has been a mixed bag for Tollywood with multiple disappointments like Radhe Shyam, Sarkaru Vaari Paata, Acharya, Liger, and others. Tollywood is hoping for a better 2023 and the onus is on the two veterans to get things off to a positive start. This will set the stage for the entire year. 

The last time Tollywood had a head-on star clash for Sankranthi was when Ala Vaikunthapurramulo and Sarileru Neekevvaru released. Both the films were huge blockbusters. Tollywood is no hoping for something similar with Waltair Veerayya and Veera Simha Reddy.
