Dil Raju: Will request theaters for Varasudu in TN

Star producer Dil Raju is facing a strange situation of sorts with his ongoing film, Varasudu which has Tamil star Vijay in the lead role. He is blocking theaters at a staggering pace in Telugu states for this film.
But the situation is completely different in Tamil Nadu and Dil Raju is getting to learn the trade the hard way. He has openly commented about the same now.
In his latest interaction, Dil Raju said "Vijay is the No. 1 hero in Tamil Nadu. But I am unable to get enough screens for Vijay's film that I'm producing. Of the 800 theaters that will be equally distributed next Pongal amongst Varisu and Thunivu, I've asked for 50 more theaters with the investments and scale of projects in mind. But Red Giant movie, which is operated by Stalin garu is not budging" Dil Raju said.
The star producer went on to add that he will be leaving to Chennai on the 16th of December to meet with Stalin and discuss the theaters allocation plan with him. Raju said he would be requesting Stalin for more theaters for Varisu in Tamil Nadu next Pongal season.
Will Raju get what he wants? We have to wait and see how it all turns out for the producer who is venturing into Tamil cinema with the Vijay starrer.
