Rashmika Mandanna already faces a lot of heat from the Kannada audience as they argue that she forgets her roots and sees down on entities that gave her a career.
Cut to now, Rashmika has given more fodder to the social media trolls and her haters with her latest comment on South Indian cinema.
"Bollywood romantic songs were a thing. For me, while growing up, romantic songs mean, it's Bollywood romantic songs. In the South, we have all Mass masala songs, item numbers & dance numbers. This is my first Bollywood romantic song(From Mission Majnu), I'm so excited because it's so good & I am waiting for you all to listen to it." Rashmika said,
The above statement was made while Rashmika took part in a song launch event pertaining to her upcoming Hindi film Mission Majnu.
Rashmika's comment on South cinema's portrayal of songs has drawn backlash as netizens say it is the very same South Indian cinema that made Rashmika what she is today and it isn't right for her to mock the same.
