This Sankranthi saw the theatrical debut of biggies like Veera Simha Reddy, Waltair Veerayya, Thunivu and Varasudu. These films have all turned out to be box office blockbusters and they are headed for OTT premieres now.
The latest updates are suggesting that Ajith's Thunivu (Thegimpu in Telugu) is headed for its OTT premieres on the 10th of February. The same is yet to be officially confirmed by Netflix though.
As for Waltair Veerayya, this film is likely to premiere on Netflix in February. Netflix is yet to announce the release plan. But the premieres in February are for certain.
Then there's Varasudu, featuring Tamil star Vijay. This film is set for its OTT debut on Amazon Prime Video this February. The OTT release date will be announced soon. But reports suggest that it will be streaming on Amazon Prime this February.
Balakrishna's Veera Simha Reddy is likely to get a delayed OTT release. The film has sealed Disney+ Hotstar as its official OTT streaming partner. Hotstar is not known for early OTT releases, so a delayed release is for certain for the Balakrishna starrer. It might release towards the end of Feburary or early March.
