Samantha's Shaakuntalam Second Single Rushivanamlona is a delight to both ears and eyes

Guna Shekar, a supremely talented filmmaker is coming with the stunning romantic saga Shaakuntalam on the big screen after a long time. Starring Samantha in the titular role, the film has Malayalam actor Dev Mohan in Dushyant character.

Produced by Neelima Guna and presented by ace producer Dilraju, the film currently at the post-production stage. Already the trailer took the expectations bar a notch higher and now the makers are busy treating the netizens with melodious singles. The first lyrical video of the "Mallika" song was just awesome and now, the second single "Rushivanamlona" unveiled today.

This song has a soothing tune that captures your heart. Sid Sriram and Chinmayi's soft and mellifluous vocals puts everyone in trance. Melody has always been a forte of Melody Brahma Mani Sharma and it's at full display in 'Rushivanamlona', a soothing melody number featuring Shaakuntala and King Dushyant.

The picturesque forest backrop with classy visuals will impress everyone. An instantly catchy song, sung by Sid Sriram and Chinmayi, has lyrics written by Shreemani. Samantha and Dev Mohan chemistry looks magical in the song. This song also released in other languages and it sounds as good as original.

The much awaited Shaakuntalam which is based on internationally acclaimed Kalidasa's Sanskrit play 'Abhijnana Shakuntalam' is all set to release on February 17th, 2023 in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada. The film will be released in 3D so that audience can experience the Gunasekhar visual magic.

The film has Mohan Babu, Prakash Raj, Gautami, Aditi Balan, and Ananya Nagalla in pivotal roles. The film is bankrolled under Gunaa Teamworks in collaboration with Sri Venkateswara Creations. Melody Brahma Manisharma is scoring music for the film.

Shaakuntalam is written and directed by Gunasekhar. Sai Madhav Burra penned the dialogues for the film. Sekhar V Joseph is the cinematographer, and Prawin Pudi is the editor.
