Blockbuster in Telugu, Huge disaster in Hindi

Allu Arjun’s Ala Vaikunthapurramulo is one of the biggest box office blockbusters ever in Indian cinema and it proved to be the Sankranthi winner back in 2020.
However, the Hindi remake of Aala Vaikunthapurramulo, Shehzada has turned out to be a humongous disaster.
While Ala Vaikunthapurramulo grossed over Rs 250 crores at the global box office, the Hindi remake is nowhere close and it is ending up as one of the biggest disasters of all time.
The Allu Arjun starrer could gross over Rs 250 crores at the box office while the Hindi remake is struggling to collect even Rs 20 crores nett at the Indian box office.
A few subjects are meant to be explored only in one language as they cater only to those audience. If messed with, they can be huge disasters in other languages. The same thing is happening with Shehzada now.
While the original Telugu version was a non Baahubali blockbuster in Telugu, the Hindi remake is one of the biggest disasters of all time.
