Samantha, Gunasekhar, and Dil Raju are taking a huge risk with Shakuntalam which is overtly above its proposed budget and ended up costing the makers a big fortune.
The film's box office prospects arent yet clear and ti needs to go a long way at the ticket coutners if it is to recover the massive costs that are involved.
As the film heads for its theatrical release, Samantha has started to hype up the film big time and she has started to use social media as a medium for the same.
In the new set of tweets from Samantha after she watched Shakuntalam, she wrote "And I finally watched the movie today! @Gunasekhar1 garu.. you have my heart. What a beautiful film! One of our greatest epics brought to life so endearingly! I can’t wait for our family audiences to be swept away by the powerful emotions!".

Samantha is expected to aggressively promote Shakuntalam and the film needs all of it if it is to pull through at the box office.
