Can Prabhas end Tollywood's disaster slump?

Prabhas is one of the biggest superstars in Indian cinema now despite the failures of Saaho and Radhe Shyam. The stakes are exceptionally high on his next film, Adipurush which is based on the Hindu epic of Ramayan.
Interestingly, Tollywood is currently in a dry slump with several box office disasters like Custody, Agent, and others.
Only Dasara and Virupaksha are the two films that have tasted success at the box office and they too slowed down a bit towards the end. Usually, summer releases enjoy an extended long run at the box office but that didn't happen here.
Prabhas's Adipurush is the only big hero film to release in a while and that is the reason why all the hopes are on the film to set the Tollywood box office on fire.
Adiprusuh is being sold for a whopping amount of money and the Telugu states rights alone are valued at Rs 150 crores.
Adipurush is based on the Hindu epic of Ramayan and this will bring it closer to the youngsters and the elderly as well. This should act in the film's favour now.
