Telugu folk in the USA often put in their best efforts to enchant the beauty of the culture. The same is the case with Prashanthi Harathi who has come up with a new video feature that has been titled Teluginti Samskruthi. This was released by none other than K Raghavendra Rao through his Youtube channel, KRR Works
The video song that was just released has Prashanthi in a super traditional avatar. Tanya Harathi plays her daughter and is supported by Kiran Gudipalli as Tanya’s Dad. Tanya looks like a proper traditional “Teluginti Aadapaduchu”
The song has a festive vibe and it sure does have a sophisticated value to it. This was directed by ace movie director VN Aditya
Prashanthi Harathi is the Founder and Artistic Director of ‘Abhinaya Kuchipudi Dance Academy’, Portland, Oregon, U.S.A moved to Dallas Metroplex last year and now managing ‘Omkara School of Indian Classical Dance - Kuchipudi’ in Frisco, Texas,U.S.A.
Prashanthi post graduated in Masters in Performing Arts (Indian Classical Dance - Kuchipudi) from Hyderabad Central University and was the topper in the university.
She is an extremely passionate dance professional with over 22 years of experience in teaching and over 34 years in performing the great Indian Traditional Dance form of Kuchipudi.
About Tanya Harathi
Tanya Harathi is a multi-talented individual who has immersed herself in various activities, showcasing her diverse skills and interests. She is deeply immersed in Indian Classical Dance, specializing in Kuchipudi, which she has been learning since a very young age under the guidance of her mother and Guru, Smt. Prashanthi Harathi. Now, Tanya teaches this beautiful art form to children, passing on her passion and knowledge at her mother’s dance school, Omkara School of Indian Classical Dance, Kuchipudi in Frisco, Texas.
At school, she is in various clubs and organizations such as HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America), Model United Nation, Academic Decathlon, and debate. Being a gifted student, she has been been in the Gifted and Talented program since middle school. Her passion for theater and performing allows her to express herself in front of large audiences. Tanya is also deeply connected to her cultural roots, and she has completed a senior certificate course in Telugu Manabadi.
With a string of achievements and a passion for both the arts and intellectual pursuits, Tanya Harathi continues to excel and make a positive impact in her community.
