All the while, there wasnt too much going against the village volunteers system in Andhra Pradesh. There was a sense of positivity, given that they were delivering pensions to old age people at their doorsteps and also carrying out multiple welfare programs for the common public from the comfort of their homes.

But now, Pawan has launched a scathing attack against the volunteers system. He has made human trafficking allegations against them.

"The Minister of State for Home Affairs, Shri Ajay Kumar Mishra, in a written reply to a question in the Rajya Sabha answered the following today.

During the 3 years from 2019 to 2021, a total of 30,196 females from Andhra Pradesh which includes (7918 girls below 18 years) and (22,278 women, above 18 years) went missing.

A closer look at the numbers tell that the number of missing girls and women in our Andhra Pradesh has been on a rising trend. Why are our girls and women missing? What’s happening to them? Who will take responsibility?

Will the AP Mahila Commission come to the press and talk about this in public tomorrow? Will the AP Mahila Commission demand an explanation from the Home Ministry and DGP? Will the AP Mahila Commission finally act and question the YCP Govt? JanaSena demands the Home Minister and DGP to respond." Pawan recently tweeted.

The volunteers system is deeply rooted in Andhra Pradesh and these scathing allegations from Pawan right before the election might come back to haunt JanaSena, opine political analysts.
