AP, Telangana sending highest number of students abroad

Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are reportedly sending the joint highest number of students abroad when it comes to the Indian states that have the highest number of students going abroad.
As per the latest report from Beyond Beds & Boundaries: Indian Student Mobility Report, 2023, Andhra and Telangana are sending the highest number of students abroad.
The list of Indian states with highest number of students leaving abroad is as below:
1. Punjab - 12.5%
2. Andhra/Telangana - 12.5%
3. Maharashtra - 12.5%
4. Gujarat - 8%
5. Delhi NCR - 8%
6. Tamil Nadu - 8%
7. Karnataka - 6%
This essentially means that out of every 100 students going abroad, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are sending out 13 of them.
