Megastar Chiranjeevi Receives Prestigious Padma Vibhushan Award

Earlier this year, the Government of India announced the prestigious Padma Vibhushan, the second-highest civilian honour in the country, conferred upon Megastar Chiranjeevi.
Today, during the Padma Awards presentation ceremony at Rashtrapathi Bhavan in New Delhi, President Droupadi Murmu bestowed this award upon him.
Accompanying Chiru were his wife Surekha, son Ram Charan, and daughter-in-law Upasana Kamineni Konidela. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and several other cabinet ministers graced the event with their presence.
Chiru was recognized for his outstanding contributions to the field of Art spanning over four and a half decades.
He stands as one of the most eminent stars in the country, with a colossal fan base. Notably, Chiru had previously received the Padma Bhushan, the third-highest civilian honour, in 2006.
This recognition of Padma Vibhushan comes after 18 years, marking yet another milestone in his illustrious career.
