The first lyrical video for the highly anticipated film Vettaiyan was unveiled yesterday, and it quickly climbed to the top of trending charts. However, the spotlight is not solely on the film's lead, Rajinikanth, or the music composed by Anirudh Ravichander. Instead, it is Malayalam actress Manju Warrier, known as Chechi, who is capturing the most attention with her dynamic dance performance.

In the video, Manju Warrier, dressed in a saree and sunglasses, delivers a performance brimming with energy and playfulness. Despite being in her 50s, her dance moves are full of vitality, defying the common expectation that only younger actresses generate significant buzz with dance numbers. The enthusiastic reception of her performance highlights a refreshing shift in how age and glamour are perceived in the film industry.

Manju Warrier is a well-established name in Malayalam cinema, having started her career in 1995. Known affectionately as Manju Chechi, she took a break from acting after her marriage but made a strong comeback in the mid-2010s. Her notable Tamil film roles include performances in Asuran alongside Dhanush and Lucifer with Mohanlal. In Vettaiyan, directed by TJ Gnanavel, she stars alongside Rajinikanth, Rana Daggubati, and Fahadh Faasil.

Set to release on October 10, Vettaiyan is already generating excitement not just for its star-studded cast and intriguing plot but also for Manju Warrier's captivating performance that transcends traditional expectations.
