Jr NTR has undergone a significant transformation in his choice of collaborators, shifting from working exclusively with established hit directors to reviving the fortunes of those who have faced failures. This strategic approach has not only bolstered his career but has also reinvigorated the careers of several directors.
Starting with Temper, NTR helped Puri Jagannadh bounce back after a string of flops. He then joined forces with Sukumar, whose previous film 1: Nenokkadine had underperformed, leading to the successful Nannaku Prematho. Following the disaster of Sardaar Gabbar Singh, NTR teamed up with K.S. Ravindra (Bobby) for Jai Lava Kusa, which became another success.
Similarly, after Agnyaathavaasi failed to impress, Trivikram Srinivas found his footing again with the blockbuster Aravinda Sametha starring NTR.
Now, Koratala Siva joins this illustrious list. Despite the failure of Acharya, NTR placed his trust in Siva for Devara. The film has received mixed reviews but performed strongly at the box office, particularly during its opening weekend, proving once again that NTR has a knack for turning directors' fortunes around.
Currently, NTR is set to collaborate with Prashanth Neel, who recently tasted success with Salaar: Part 1, marking a new chapter in his film journey.
