Naga Chaitanya's highly anticipated film "Thandel," originally scheduled for a December 20 release to coincide with the Christmas season, is now eyeing January dates. The makers are considering launching the film on either January 14 or 15, aligning with the Sankranthi festival, known for its competitive movie releases.

Produced by Geetha Arts and directed by Chandoo Mondeti, "Thandel" is expected to have its content ready by Sankranthi. The team is currently assessing the availability of slots given the usual rush during the festival season. If the January dates do not pan out, they are also contemplating a release during the Republic Day weekend on January 23.

Chandoo Mondeti previously collaborated with Naga Chaitanya on successful films like "Premam" and "Savyasachi." His latest project, "Karthikeya 2," emerged as a blockbuster, raising expectations for "Thandel." The rustic action drama, featuring Sai Pallavi alongside Chaitanya, aims to capture the audience's interest in the coming month. With high hopes riding on this film, fans are eager to see if it will deliver an enthralling cinematic experience.
