Actor-filmmaker Dhanush and his wife, filmmaker Aishwarya Rajinikanth, who had separated in 2022 after 18 years of marriage, may be on the path to reconciliation. The couple had initially filed for divorce by mutual consent in Chennai's Family Court, but the proceedings have faced repeated adjournments due to missed court appearances. Recently, rumors of a reunion gained traction after Dhanush acknowledged Aishwarya’s social media post celebrating the Onam festival, and their continued missed court dates sparked further speculation.

Adding fuel to the fire, reports suggest that Dhanush and Aishwarya met during Diwali at Rajinikanth’s Poes Garden residence, where the couple allegedly had an open conversation about their relationship. Sources claim that Dhanush made commitments toward a possible reunion, and the two celebrated the festival together with their sons, Linga and Yatra. This has led to further speculation that the couple may be considering a fresh start.

While both Dhanush and Aishwarya continue to focus on their respective careers, their personal lives are now in the spotlight once again. Dhanush has been busy with his acting projects, including Raayan and his directorial venture Nilavukku En Mel Ennadi Kobam, while also awaiting the release of Kubera, directed by Sekhar Kammula. Aishwarya, on the other hand, had her film Laal Salaam, starring her father Rajinikanth, released earlier this year.
