Director Ram Gopal Varma (RGV), known for his bold and unapologetic attitude, has recently found himself at the center of controversy after a case was filed against him at Ongole Rural Police Station. The case was filed due to derogatory comments he made about political figures, including Chandrababu Naidu, Pawan Kalyan, and Nara Lokesh, during the promotions of his film Vyooham. Despite his reputation for being fearless, RGV's actions in this situation have raised questions among his fans.
A few days ago, RGV was summoned for questioning by the police but requested more time, which was granted. He later sought the dismissal of the case in court, but his efforts were unsuccessful. When he was scheduled for questioning again today, RGV chose to skip the session, prompting the Ongole police to visit his residence in Hyderabad to take him into custody. However, they reportedly found him absent and suspect that he has gone into hiding. Through his lawyer, RGV sent a notice requesting that the questioning be conducted virtually after two weeks.
This avoidance of police questioning has left many of RGV’s fans disillusioned. Known for his daring and often controversial personality, RGV’s failure to attend the questioning has led to questions about the authenticity of the fearless persona he has cultivated over the years. Fans and critics alike are now wondering if his actions contradict the bold image he once proudly portrayed.
