Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2: The Rule has achieved an all-time record on its opening day, grossing ₹294 crore worldwide. This marks the highest opening day collection in Indian cinema. The film, which was heavily promoted, saw strong box office numbers across Telugu states and beyond, including a ₹72 crore opening in the Hindi version alone.
Taran Adarsh, a Bollywood trade analyst, confirmed the new record, surpassing Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan, which earned ₹65.5 crore on its opening day. Directed by Sukumar, the movie stars Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil, and showcases thrilling performances and action.
