Sudigali Sudheer was recently seen in a feature film titled Software Sudheer. He has now come up with another film - Gaalodu which released today.

Story: Sudheer escapes from his village after he is framed in a murder case. After reaching the city, he saves a woman(Gehna Sippy) from a gang of goos. She later gives him a job at her father's company and the couple fall for each other eventually. But Sudheer is then nabbed by the police. What follows later forms the rest of the plot.

How did the actors perform?

Sudheer is decent in his role. He plays a mass character and does his best to justify it, but he often goes overboard. His fans might like his antics, but for the rest it is a mixed bad.

Gehna is fine in the female lead role but she has very little prominence in the script and the core narrative. The rest of the support cast perform to the best of their capabilities.

What about the technical finesse?

Right from the outset, Gaalodu is a very routine commercial film with very little to offer in the novelty front. The screenplay is dated and the narration is formulaic. The film doesn't even have an iota of freshness, making it a boring watch.

Those who are accustomed to new age cinema can give this film a skip comfortably as the director Rajasekhar Reddy take a very routine and dated approach when it comes to screenplay and presentation. The songs are below par and there isn't much to speak about the visual presentation either.

Verdict: Gaalodu is a poorly presented commercial potboiler that runs on a very predictable note. There is nothing fresh in terms of the story or presentation. It is loaded with over the top scenes. Those who love such over the top actioners might give it a try but for the rest, it is a no-no.
