2002 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 35th Anniversary
89,000 miles
I’ve had the car about 3 years, used to daily drive it to work everyday and now it just sits. In the time I owed it :
New spark plugs
New wires
New convertible top
New tensioner/ belt
Oil change
Trans service
When I purchased the car it had been hit on the passenger quarter panel. I just paid some wonderful gentleman from Craigslist to do the body work it needed, and they absolutely screwed me over. The quarter panel, rear bumper will need to be properly repaired and painted.
The cons of this car are it has been sitting most of the time the last couple of years. I do start it and move it from spot to spot occasionally. The driver seat is torn. The front rotors are warped, so it will need front brakes sooner rather than later. The tires are okay for now, but are starting to thin out.
When I bought the car, it needed a new top, so I purchased a donor car with a new top on it. So the car comes with a color matched rear bumper, hood, trunk, a set of different style rims that need new tires. I even have a full dashboard from the other vehicle. I can also include a set of longtube headers and the y pipe that comes with them.
She’s not perfect, but it’s a low mileage LS1 with an automatic transmission. A little bit of love will go a long way, I just entirely lost interest in the car when I stopped commuting. The fact that I tried to have some “ honest “ guys do the body work and then screw the car up didn’t help my interest either.
KBB instant offer on the car is 8800 once the body work is done. 5500, not negotiable. Cars worth 10k with some love put into her, just tired of insuring her.
The last picture is of the terrible body work/paint that was done
