An 11-week training course (302 hours) leading to Nurse Assistant certification is seeking motivated people interested in a health care career to apply for this free program. You'll receive in-class training, clinical hands-on experience, support for taking the certification, free optional Home Health Aide training, and job coaching to help you get into a healthcare job!
 
Almost all costs are covered, including:
- course costs ($2000 value)
- scrubs
- nursing shoes
- lunch on class days
- other costs including food and transportation.
 
The program starts January 2025 and ends about 3 months later.
 
To apply you'll need medical records, including vaccinations, and other documentation that will be covered in the orientation.
 
Classes are M-F 8:30a-3pm at the San Leandro Adult and Career Education Center
