The Crude and Clean Products Midstream group is responsible for the infrastructure that connects Phillips 66 refining to the market including pipelines, terminals, and marine docks. The Midstream Analyst role provides an opportunity to work across the midstream value chain including regulatory, joint ventures, and business development. A successful Midstream Analyst has a customer-first mindset and is a self-starter who can learn quickly and work independently.
Responsibilities May Include: Develop a comprehensive understanding of the Crude and Clean Product Midstream business including:
Phillips 66 and 3rd party assets, their functions and their role in the market
Commercial drivers and strategies
Asset operations
Support the Regulatory Directors in the updating and filing of new and existing tariffs.
Calculate tariff limits based on governing regulatory bodies
Understand tariff regulations and their implications on Phillips 66 assets
Assist the Joint Venture Director with the management of joint venture assets including:
The development of board meeting materials
Compiling financial data
Review and understand the JV assets and contract structures
Business Development Projects
Develop marketing materials for assets
Create market analysis through research and coordination with other departments within Phillips 66
Assist Directors with contract management tools
Communicate knowledge and understanding through presentation development
Ad Hoc customer management including:: Special reports such as volume, revenue, etc
Accounting research
Asset site visits
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Energy Logistics
Proficient in Excel and Power Point
SAP experience
Power BI Experience
FERC and or TRCC Regulatory Experience
