Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Server Captain to lead our service team during events. The ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of food and beverage service, and the ability to manage and direct a team effectively. This role requires a reliable individual who can follow instructions, ensure exceptional guest experiences, and maintain high service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee the team of servers during events to ensure seamless operations.

• Communicate effectively in English to give clear instructions and address client needs.

• Ensure all team members understand and follow the event setup, menu, and service sequence.

• Serve as the main point of contact between event managers, kitchen staff, and servers.

• Conduct pre-event briefings to review the event timeline, menu details, and service expectations.

• Assist in the setup and breakdown of event spaces, ensuring everything is organized and clean.

• Monitor staff performance, provide feedback, and address any issues promptly.

• Ensure guests’ needs are met promptly and professionally during the event.

• Drive to event locations if required and assist with transporting supplies if needed.

Requirements:

• Language Skills: Must speak and understand English fluently.

• Team Leadership: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team effectively.

• Menu Knowledge: Strong understanding of food and beverage service; ability to explain dishes and beverages clearly.

• Driving: A valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle.

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a leadership role in food and beverage, catering, or hospitality.

• Flexibility: Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.

• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and carry trays or equipment for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of wine pairings and fine dining service standards.

• Experience with event planning or catering logistics.

• Certification in food safety or alcohol service (e.g., ServSafe, TIPS).

Compensation:
