From singer, songwriter, music producer, visual artist, and writer Neko Case comes The Harder I Fight the More I Love You, a memoir of a poverty-stricken childhood, obsessive desires, and indispensable friendships. Reflecting on the ways art, music, and nature have guided her journey, Case traces her evolution from an invisible girl “raised by two dogs and a space heater” in rural Washington state to her improbable emergence as an internationally-acclaimed talent. Case will be in conversation with Hanna Rosin, a senior editor at The Atlantic, host of “Radio Atlantic,” and the author of The End of Men.
