Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has taken a commendable step that deserves applause from the entire Telugu society. Certain sections of social media have become toxic, with women from politicians' families being targeted with indecent and offensive posts. The alliance government has rightly cracked down on social media activists from the YCP who have resorted to such disgraceful behavior. However, Chandrababu Naidu didn’t stop there. He made a bold statement, declaring that he would not spare even the TDP's own social media groups if they were found making similar posts about women from YCP families.

This decisive stance has led to a mass deletion of several offensive posts from the archives of TDP and Jana Sena social media channels. This is indeed a welcome development. Instead of treating this solely as a political vendetta, Chandrababu Naidu has set an example as an ideal leader by holding his own supporters accountable. It is hoped that other leaders will take inspiration from this move by Chandrababu Naidu. This initiative should be embraced and continued by all political parties, regardless of which party is in power in future. Only through such collective responsibility can peace prevail in the state and the minds of its people.
